Mod Tally is built to work entirely on your own device. This page explains exactly what that means.

What Mod Tally collects

Nothing. Mod Tally does not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data. There are no accounts, no logins, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter — contractor name, client name, pay periods, daily hours, and signatures — is saved locally on your device using your browser's built-in storage. It never leaves your device unless you choose to export it yourself.

Exporting and importing your data

Mod Tally lets you export your timesheet as a file at any time, for your own backup or to move it to another device. That file is saved wherever you choose to save it — Mod Tally does not upload it anywhere. Importing works the same way in reverse: you choose the file, and it's read directly on your device.

Third parties

Mod Tally does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. No data is ever sold or shared, because none is ever collected in the first place.

Children's privacy

Mod Tally does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, since it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Mod Tally adds an optional account or sync feature — this page will be updated to reflect exactly what that feature does and does not collect.
